How does automatic pet feeder work?

Question: How does automatic pet feeder work?

Can you set the time on them? I mean if I want my to feed my cat at 5 am but I'm sleeping. He keeps waking me up really early. It's just annoying I can't keep food in his bowl all the time because he eats it right away. The other reason I really need a feeder is because he is 20 lbs.

Good morning. I have 2 cats and I don't think they have an automatic timer on any of them. You should try to keep food in the bowl at all times. That's what I do. Then he/ she won't bother you in the middle of the night! I think they want the attention. Hope this helps.

That is WAY overweight. before u start feeding him u need to exercise him!!!! loose a few pounds first. and it depends on which feeder u get. some u can set time on, others just refill randomly.
